What had made me successful enough to become CEO was no longer enough to help me succeed at the next level.
MM
You’re not alone. Many senior leaders feel the same — high performance, but low regeneration.
As CEO of an educational publishing company, I looked successful from the outside: results, teams, shareholders. But inside, something felt off.
The world around me was changing fast: digital disruption, rising expectations, people craving meaning and balance. My team was running in survival mode, and so was I.
I worked harder, pushed further.
Yet impact felt smaller every day.
Then came a simple but sobering truth:
What had made me successful was now holding me back.
My intellect, my drive, my need for control, they had taken me far, but they were no longer enough. I had to learn a new way to lead, one grounded in presence, purpose, and energy, not just pressure and performance.
When I made that shift, everything changed:
My team became more strategic and creative.
We delivered faster, with fewer crises.
Absenteeism dropped by half — and burnout disappeared.
Profit grew in double digits.
And personally, I achieved more by doing less — with clarity, balance, and renewed energy.
That transformation became my calling.
I left my CEO role, not to escape, but to help other leaders move from survival to regeneration.
Nine years later, after guiding thousands of leaders through coaching and programs at Solvay Brussels School, I’ve brought everything I’ve learned together into one experience:
👉 The Executive Regenerative Coaching Journey — a 12-month path to measurable transformation for yourself, your team, and your organization.

Regenerative work habits Show amazing results

Everything that hinders success and prosperity is going down, while everything that drives results is rising.
These outcomes were achieved by adopting generative habits.
We’ve been conditioned for slower times, and the habits we’ve developed reflect that.
To thrive today, it’s crucial to replace these outdated behaviors with new ones that match the pace of modern life. Our old habits simply won’t keep up with fast-changing environments, and unless we shift our mindset and habits, it will be difficult to sustain growth and well-being. By embracing new, regenerative habits, leaders and their teams can boost their impact, engagement, and resilience.
Imagine These Results in your organization!
What happens when you change the culture of your company
The culture of a company is the sum of its habits. By transforming degenerative habits into regenerative habits, and by adopting a leadership based on systems thinking, empowerment, and emotional intelligence, here is what happens:

- Your culture will align with purpose, inspiring meaningful work at every level of the organization.
